Instruction for installation of paving block
- Ensure the earth or ground is firm and levelled according to water level before commencing installation.
- Use 6mm aggregate in the ratio of 165 cubic feet for 1000 square feet of paving block.
- 6mm aggregate should be compacted using an earth compactor.
- Install paving block. Tap gently with rubber hammer to ensure perfect locking.
- Finish the sides in 3 inches thickness using a cement concrete mix.
Precautions before and after installation
- All maintenance work like plumbing, painting, and carpentry works should be completed before commencing installation of pavers to avoid anysorts of staining.
- Avoid parking vehicles for 24 hours to ensure proper curing of the concrete mix.
